IN BULGARIA
- 1958 - first two sets of hemodialysis "Nephra II" start to function
- 1962 - started the first successful and regular dialysis procedures by Prof. E. Patev
- 1966 - to build the first nephrological clinic of Professor Mazhdrakov
- 1968 - first transplantation of a child at the Institute for Emergency Medicine "Pirogov" by Professor Minkoff
- 1969 - the first successful transplant of an adult in the Alexander Hospital by Professor Lambrev Prof. Atanassov , Prof. Kumanov .
